Antique atlases are one of the greatest sources of information for researchers of Main Line history. Among other things they tell us what buildings existed at certain times, who owned properties, original names and alignments of streets, and much more. These atlases are large and ungainly to look at, but several external websites have been created with digital scans to browse. |
